Lazard Global Equity Income Fund
A sterling denominated fund that seeks to generate both substantial income and long-term capital appreciation through investment in global equities, both in developed and emerging markets. As at least 90% of its stocks are held in other Lazard portfolios for capital growth purposes, it is able to avoid some of the value traps of income investing and may be appropriate for investors attracted to a regular income stream without sacrificing capital growth potential.
Lazard UK Alpha Fund
Possessing an excellent long-term performance record generated by an experienced investment team, well regarded by many leading fund rating agencies. With its aim of participating in bull markets while defending in bear markets, the Lazard UK Alpha Fund may be considered an appropriate core holding for many clients looking to benefit from long-term capital growth in the broad UK equity market.
Lazard Emerging Markets Fund
(formerly known as the Lazard Emerging Markets Growth Fund)
The Lazard Emerging Markets Fund is a broad based global emerging markets fund with an exceptional performance track record. It offers investors the opportunity to participate in the expected long-term growth potential of companies operating in the emerging markets.
Lazard European Alpha Fund
The Lazard European Alpha Fund aims to exploit the diversity of companies within Europe by investing in 45-60 stocks that exhibit core characteristics of delivering returns on equity above their cost of capital and that are reasonably valued. With an excellent long-term performance record generated by an experienced investment team, the Fund may be considered an appropriate core holding for many clients looking to benefit from long-term capital growth potential in the broad European equity market.
Lazard European Smaller Companies Fund
Managed by an experienced investment team, the Lazard European Smaller Companies Fund is suitable for investors wishing to participate in the growth potential of the many smaller companies in Europe. The Fund seeks to achieve long-term capital growth by investing in generally the smallest 10% of European companies, as measured by market capitalisation.
Lazard UK Income Fund
The Lazard UK Income Fund will concentrate on superior total returns aiming to achieve this through a combination of excess yield to the market and capital growth, and is complementary to our range of UK equity strategies. The Fund aims to achieve a reasonable level of income combined with capital growth from a portfolio of securities primarily made up of equity investments listed in the United Kingdom. The UK Income Fund will not be restricted in respect of choice of investments by company size or industry, and up to a maximum of 20% of the Fund may be invested in overseas equity and non-equity securities.
Lazard UK Smaller Companies Fund
Smaller companies can offer exciting investment opportunities as they often operate in niche markets. However, with an investment universe of over 2,500 companies, an experienced investment team is essential for the management of a UK small cap fund. The Lazard UK Smaller Companies Fund has an excellent track record delivered by an experienced team which is supported by Lazard’s extensive research platform. The Fund aims to achieve capital growth at a rate greater than the Hoare Govett Smaller Companies (ex Investment Trusts) Index.
Lazard UK Omega Fund
The Lazard UK Omega Fund represents a concentrated approach to UK equity investment. Supported by strong risk controls, the Fund contains the 25-35 stocks held by our UK Equity Team with the greatest conviction. By re-classifying the FTSE All-Share Index into 10 'baskets', the Fund helps to ensure economic diversification and minimise the risks associated with sector and stock concentration in the UK equity market. The Fund may be appropriate for clients who are looking for a more ambitious performance target than that pursued by the Lazard UK Alpha Fund.
Lazard International Equity Fund
(now merged with the Lazard Global Equity Income Fund)
Managed by an experienced team of global equity investors, the Lazard International Equity Fund offers a truly diversified overseas equity fund for those investors who wish to benefit from capital growth potential in equity markets worldwide and may already have exposure to UK markets.
Lazard Managed Balanced Fund
Managed by a broad team of highly experienced investors and with a track record that exhibits consistently strong performance over the long term, the Lazard Managed Balanced Fund offers clients the opportunity to invest in a fund which provides access to both the UK and global equity markets, while being complemented by the relatively lower risk potential associated with investment in UK bonds.
Lazard Managed Equity Fund
With a good performance record over the long term generated by an experienced investment team, the Lazard Managed Equity Fund offers clients the opportunity to invest in a fund which provides access to both the UK and global equity markets. The Fund has a minimum of 50% exposure to UK equities.
Lazard Sterling Corporate Bond Fund
(formerly known as the Lazard UK Corporate Bond Fund)
With a track record that demonstrates strong and consistent returns over time and managed by experienced fixed income investors, the Lazard Sterling Corporate Bond Fund may be an appropriate choice for investors looking to benefit from the potential extra yield offered by corporate bonds whilst being predominantly exposed to investment-grade rated debt.
Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The Funds are sub-funds of Lazard Investment Funds – a UK based open ended investment company (OEIC) and UCITS. Investors are reminded that the value of shares and income from them can go down as well as up and they may not get back the full amount invested.

Fluctuations in the rate of exchange between the currency in which shares are denominated and the currency of investment may have the effect of causing the value of investments to diminish or increase.

Securities of smaller companies may be less liquid and more volatile than securities of larger companies.

Funds that invest in emerging markets carry an above average degree of risk due to the undeveloped nature of security markets within emerging countries. Investors should consider whether or not investment in such a sub-fund is either suitable or should constitute a substantial part of their portfolio.

The Authorised Corporate Director of the Funds is Lazard Fund Managers Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
