Introduction of Lazard Japan Asset Management

Lazard Asset Management LLC (“Lazard”) is truly a global organization with over 190 investment professionals in 7 countries. Lazard has its headquarter in New York and has offices in London, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Milan, Minneapolis, Tokyo, Seoul and Sydney.

Lazard has approximately 15.0 trillion Japanese yen in assets under management as at the end of September 2007.

Lazard's History

"Lazard" was established in 1970 as an investment management division of Lazard Freres & Co. LLC ("LF&Co."), one of the first global investment banks.

Today, Lazard provides investment management service to institutional clients (public pensions, private pensions, financial institutions and foundations) in 7 countries with a wide range of products local and global.

Lazard Japan Asset Management K.K. is the Japanese subsidiary of Lazard, and began operating in 1987, providing discretionary investment services primarily to institutional clients (pension funds and financial institutions) with products in global, US, European and Japanese equities.
